Nouryon (formerly AkzoNobel) Ampholak YJH-40 is a new-generation, highly efficient, phosphorus-free, low-foaming solubilizer. As an amphoteric surfactant, Ampholak YJH-40 is compatible with various types of surfactants, chelating agents, and salts. It can withstand solutions containing up to 27% NaOH and 40% nitric acid. With exceptionally low foam generation, Nouryon YJH-40 is widely suitable for use in various cleaning products, especially low-foam cleaning formulations.

Ampholak YJH-40 effectively enhances the solubility of surfactants in highly alkaline or acidic solutions and improves the cloud point of formulations.
