Lutensol AO3 Nonionic Surfactant / Low-COD Textile Pretreatment Agent / Textile Printing and Dyeing Auxiliary
Chemical Name: Lutensol AO3
Other Names: Nonionic Surfactant AO3
Product Introduction:
The Lutensol AO series, produced by BASF, is a distinctive range of functional nonionic surfactants. These products are chemically composed of medium-chain alcohols (C13–C15) and ethylene oxide. They offer outstanding performance in oil removal, cleaning, and emulsification.
This series provides an effective solution for meeting low COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) requirements. All products in the series have a critical micelle concentration (CMC) below 0.02 g/L, meaning only a small amount is needed to achieve emulsification and cleaning effects. Due to their excellent performance and low dosage, they contribute significantly to reducing COD levels.
Lutensol AO3 appears as a cloudy, colorless liquid at 23°C. While it tends to form precipitates under certain conditions, it becomes a clear solution when heated to 50°C.
Applications:
Textile pretreatment, textile printing and dyeing, etc.
