Ampholak YJH-40 is a new-generation, highly efficient, phosphate-free, and low-foaming hydrotrope. As an amphoteric surfactant, it demonstrates good compatibility with various types of surfactants, chelating agents, and salts. Additionally, Ampholak YJH-40 remains stable in highly concentrated alkaline and acidic environments, withstanding solutions of up to 27% NaOH and 40% nitric acid. Its exceptionally low foam profile makes it suitable for a wide range of cleaning applications, particularly in low-foam cleaning products.

 

 

Formula: 6% Berol 260, x% Solubilizer, 6% Potassium Pyrophosphate, 4% Sodium Metasilicate Pentahydrate, balance water. Cloud Point: 40 °C.

 

 

Formula: 5% GT 2624, x% Hydrotrope, 6% Potassium Pyrophosphate, 4% Sodium Metasilicate Pentahydrate, balance water. Cloud Point: >40 °C. Dilution Ratio: 1:10.

 

 

Test conditions: Spray pressure 0.5 MPa, test concentration 1%, test temperature room temperature (r.t.) & 60 °C.

 

 

Recommended Applications for Nouryon Ampholak YJH-40:

 

It can effectively replace traditional hydrotropes such as sodium xylene sulfonate, sodium cumene sulfonate, phosphate-based hydrotropes, and organic acid-based hydrotropes.
It significantly enhances the solubility of surfactants in highly alkaline and acidic solutions and increases the cloud point of formulations.
